This year we are excited to do something different with our end of the year Field Day for our PreK-5th graders.(Junior High students will have something special planned as well). We are hoping to have the parents run our elementary field day stations. What a wonderful way of saying “thank you” to your children’s teachers by giving them some time in their classrooms to help wrap up their school year.Field day will run from 9:30-2:45. We are hoping to have 1-2 parent volunteers at each station. We will have 17 stations. Please see the sign up below: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0c44aca623a7fd0-field Thank you so much for all you do!

The best way to maintain your child’s academic progress over the summer months is through ongoing and consistent practice. Summer Solutions can help keep your child proficient in his/her skills and will continue to foster the confidence gained throughout the school year. Please click HERE to see ordering information for Summer Solutions workbooks. Rather than ordering through the school, parents will be able to order the books on their own.

Our 2017-2018 school year promises to be an exciting one as we will begin our school year by opening our new junior high wing! This means our building will be filled with activity over the summer months in anticipation of the new addition. The SMART Program will not be offered this summer in order to help support and accommodate this new construction. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing everyone next summer!
With the last half of the school year upon us, we ask our school families to please keep our 2nd grade and 8th grade students in your prayers as they are preparing to receive God's grace through some very important Sacraments - Confirmation for our 8th graders and First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion for our 2nd graders:
* 8th Grade Confirmation - 4/23 @ 2:30 in St. Patrick Church of Merna
* St. Patrick of Merna 1st Holy Communion - 4/29 @ 6:00 & 4/30 @ 1:00 p.m.
* St. Mary's of Downs 1st Holy Communion - 5/7 @ 9:00 a.m.

What makes our Catholic School so special? Well, pass the word — now’s the time to take advantage of a day just for prospective families. You can see first-hand how daily prayer and a faith-based, exceptional academic education can enrich each child’s learning experience.
We welcome prospective students to shadow and "Be a Saint for a Day". Prospective students in kindergarten through eighth grade can spend the day attending academic and special classes along with lunch and recess, or are welcome to just participate for an hour or two. Parents are welcome to join in the shadow as well, or just join us for a school tour.
To schedule a visit, please contact the school at 662-3712.
On behalf of the faith and education community of Corpus Christi, welcome to our website and welcome home to your school. Please take a walk around our website, contact us and take a walk around our school. See the difference and believe.
"Community is at the heart of all Catholic education, not simply as a concept to be taught, but as a reality to be lived . . . Your students will learn to understand and appreciate the value of community as they experience love, trust, and loyalty in your school and educational programs, and as they learn to trust all persons as brothers and sisters created by God and redeemed by Christ."
Saint Pope John Paul II
When parents choose a Catholic School for their children, it sets their children apart as a family so committed to their children's education that they are ready to make extraordinary sacrifices. Parents, by making the sacrifice necessary to send their children to Catholic school, show them education is a high priority. Catholic schools provide a loving, loyal environment where the entire community of parents, teachers, students, and parish is committed to academic and personal success.
