CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR VOLLEYBALL
Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry @ Corpus Christi
Fridays from 4:30 - 7:00: March 24 , March 31, & April 7
Corpus Christi Catholic School will be on Spring Break from Friday, March 24 - Sunday, April 2. School will resume on Monday, April 3. We wish you all a wonderful and relaxing time with family and friends, and safe travels to any who may be heading out of town.
"Dear young people, God is watching over you and calling you, and when God does so, he is looking at all the love you are able to offer. Like the young Mary of Nazareth, you can improve the world and leave an imprint that makes a mark on history ‒ your history and that of many others. The Church and society need you. "
The warm weather dress code begins when we get back from Spring Break. All students may wear navy blue uniform style walking shorts. And girls may wear navy blue uniform style capris. No sandals. See the handbook for more information.
A BIG thanks to all that volunteer for lunch duty each week at both our sites. At the Elementary, we have had some shifts and are in need of more help. Please click HERE to see the current elementary Lunch Duty Schedule. If you can help, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
With the last half of the school year upon us, we ask our school families to please keep our 2nd grade and 8th grade students in your prayers as they are preparing to receive God's grace through some very important Sacraments - Confirmation for our 8th graders and First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion for our 2nd graders:
* 8th Grade Confirmation - 4/23 @ 2:00 in St. Patrick Church of Merna
* St. Patrick of Merna 1st Holy Communion - 4/29 @ 6:00 & 4/30 @ 1:00 p.m.
* Holy Trinity 1st Holy Communion - 5/7 @ 11:30 a.m.
What makes our Catholic School so special? Well, pass the word — now’s the time to take advantage of a day just for prospective families. You can see first-hand how daily prayer and a faith-based, exceptional academic education can enrich each child’s learning experience.
We welcome prospective students to shadow and "Be a Saint for a Day". Prospective students in kindergarten through eighth grade can spend the day attending academic and special classes along with lunch and recess, or are welcome to just participate for an hour or two. Parents are welcome to join in the shadow as well, or just join us for a school tour.
To schedule a visit, please contact the school at 662-3712.
On behalf of the faith and education community of Corpus Christi, welcome to our website and welcome home to your school. Please take a walk around our website, contact us and take a walk around our school. See the difference and believe.
"Community is at the heart of all Catholic education, not simply as a concept to be taught, but as a reality to be lived . . . Your students will learn to understand and appreciate the value of community as they experience love, trust, and loyalty in your school and educational programs, and as they learn to trust all persons as brothers and sisters created by God and redeemed by Christ."
Saint Pope John Paul II
When parents choose a Catholic School for their children, it sets their children apart as a family so committed to their children's education that they are ready to make extraordinary sacrifices. Parents, by making the sacrifice necessary to send their children to Catholic school, show them education is a high priority. Catholic schools provide a loving, loyal environment where the entire community of parents, teachers, students, and parish is committed to academic and personal success.
